6 monitors and TVs to play in 4K for less than €500 in featured Black Friday deals
Screens are usually absolute protagonists during the Black Friday sale, there are many users nowadays who are patiently waiting to make this type of purchase; But even with the sizable discounts we’re seeing on many models, those we’ve listed so far may not be available to everyone. Taking that into account 4K promises to be the reference resolution of this generationand knowing that many console gamers will be encountering it for the first time, we have created this simple list pointing out three 4K TVs for less than 500 euros and three other 4K monitors for less than 400 euros.
Three 4K monitors on sale under €400 this Black Friday
We open with monitors, since in this category we find a greater number of models at an affordable price. Since the goal is to find 4K models with gaming features under $400, the models listed don’t have great features, but they do have reasonable performance for their current value.
- Lenovo L28u-30 (28 inch) for 279.99 euros (original price 329 euros). We open the list with the cheapest model of all. It is an IPS monitor from Lenovo with a span of 28 inches, a good response time for a model with an IPS panel (5-6 ms) and FreeSync. It doesn’t stand out for anything special, but it fulfills everything we ask of it.
- Acer Nitro VG280K (28 inch) for 300 euros (new price 348 euros). This monitor was among our Best Value Monitor picks this year by offering a good panel with correct color representation and acceptable contrast at a low price; this price is now even lower.
- Samsung LU32R590CWUXEN (31.5 inches) for 329.99 euros (original price 399 euros). As the largest monitor on this list, as well as the only one with a curved panel, we find this Samsung model to pack a branded VA panel with 4K resolution, excellent contrast levels and color representation, as well as some welcome extras for gamers, like Game Mode . Its weak point is the brightness, which is relatively low for a monitor of this size, but still a very good option for the price we now find.
Three 4K TVs on sale under €500 this Black Friday
Televisions in the price range that we have marked for this text may have other interesting features for gamers. Although they are far from other models of higher price and size in terms of image quality and features, they are still perfectly functional and interesting.
- Samsung 43TU8005 (43 inch) for 375 euros (new price 519 euros). With a modest size and a very affordable price, the revisit of this TV for this 2020 is welcome as it is one of the cheapest and most complete Samsung proposals in this price range. It has a Va panel with Edge Led technology that gives it an adequate image and correct contrast. In addition to the price, gamers will be particularly interested in the game mode, which does an excellent job with the panel’s latency.
- Philips 43PUS8505 (43 inch) for 479.99 euros (original price 629 euros). Just over 400 euros we find the 43-inch version of this Philips model, which offers very good image quality for its price range, compatibility with Dolby Vision – Atmos and Ambilight technology to bring some brightness to our living room. For gaming, it doesn’t have any great features beyond its game mode, but this model’s MVA panel has relatively low latency.
- TCL 65DP600 (65 inches) for 489.99 euros (new price 569 euros). The largest model on our list and one of the most interesting, we find this TCL TV with a VA panel with 4K resolution and FALD lighting, which together give the model a very good level of contrast and color rendering. Unfortunately, beyond its game mode, it doesn’t really have any useful features for gamers, but its price for the image it offers is very good.
