The protagonists of this month may be Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, but we cannot forget one of the current generation platforms that has accompanied us for half a luster and has brought us some of the best games of recent years .   • Hyrule Warriors: Age of Cataclysm with the gift of Hyrule Shield Keychain: This hack’n slash saves the spirit of the experiment that was the first Hyrule Warriors to give Koei Temco’s work a more narrative and mechanical character. We will launch it next December 4th; along with the launch of Final Fantasy IX on console, which will take place in the same month.
  • Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin: If platforms and action are your thing then don’t lose sight of this oriental video game that mixes things up a bit with introduction agricultural simulation. With numerous references to Japanese mythology and history, in this video game we’ll not only have to fight, but also help the villagers around us by proving ourselves to be the best at fighting and growing rice.

But that’s just what awaits us in the little rest of 2020 on the Nintendo handheld. the hybrid system You will enjoy big throws, many of them exclusive, in the time to come, with such prominent names as No More Heroes 3 or the long-awaited Bayonetta 3 among them; We don’t know the exact date of either one, but they are expected next year.   • Blasphemous. The Metroidvania with a national flavor arrives consistently in a physical edition in our country for the first time, in an edition that includes everything that the original title now offers us, including full dubbing into Spanish. A Collector’s Edition of this edition is also expected.

  • Necrodancer’s Crypt. The fantastic dungeon crawler with musical accents comes to Switch in physical format in two versions, a standard one and a collection, characterized by an enormous amount of content that we strongly advise you to take note of if you are fans of the title or those involved are its development. . We will have it with us early next year.
  • LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The classic compilation of titles that LEGO has accustomed us to goes a notch higher thanks to The Skywalker Saga, a sequel that brings together all the LEGO games based on the famous galaxy far, far away. It will hit stores in Spring 2021 and will also include a one-figure deluxe edition, ideal for fans of the Star Wars universe.
  • Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. This new part of the Persona series rescues the characters and themes of the fifth part, the most famous so far, to embed a new genre in its story. It will appear in the spring of next year.
  • Little Nightmares 2. Also coming to us from Tarsier Studios, the first part surprised us with its staging and taste for understanding the terrors of a child’s mind, offering an adventure that was as haunting as it was exciting. The second part promises more of the same and in an even more cautious way, given that it has more resources, so we think it’s an interesting indie title on every player’s radar.

All this is confirmed for the upcoming year 2021; That being said, we have our own cabal and speculation as to what we may see next year. The second part of Breath of the Wild it’s confirmed but undated yet, so we’re hoping to learn more about it shortly; Much more mysterious is the condition of the Metroid series, with the announcement of Metroid Prime 4 as the only news for years, but we do not lose hope, with the new generation consoles on the market there are few weapons more harmful than Samus Aran’s cannon, or maybe they are the boots? Balls from a new Mario title? Switch still has a long way to go, and in the meantime, we can expect Nintendo to shake the weight of its sagas badly.

That being said, the console has also enjoyed considerable commercial success, with markets it largely dominates such as; Titles like Just Dance 2021 or Let’s Sing 13 prove this; although it also finds space to experiment with this type of video game, encountering such curious proposals as Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit and showing the physical side of video games that the Japanese company has always done so well.
